My name is Dean Bradshaw and I am a freelance photographer based in Perth, Western Australia.
What makes me different? I bring a consistent vision to a diverse range of subjects, and my work is largely location based – dealing with everything from environmental portraits, to travel and photojournalism. I have also worked closely with the Western Australian resources sector and as a result have had significant experience working all across Western Australia.
My unique style stems from my fascination with the way that lighting and colour can influence a viewer's perception and emotions - captivating them long enough to appreciate the subject - difficult to achieve in a media saturated world!
I am a graduate of the University of Western Australia, holding a degree in Biology which has led me all across the world searching for rare and inspiring wildlife. I have also worked as a consulting zoologist, using this experience to bring an intimate understanding of wildlife and the environment to my photographs of the natural world.
